Pulp tableware molding and drying

Jan 06, 2024

The process of using a dedicated molding machine to mold and remove any water that has not been removed from the pulp tableware prototype during the formation process, in order to reduce the cost of drying and dehydration, is called molding. Simultaneously molding can improve the bonding strength between fibers and increase the strength of wet paper molds.
Drying is the process of heating and evaporating the pulp tableware prototype using a preheated upper and lower copper molding mold to remove the remaining moisture after molding, while also serving as a sterilization agent. Due to the high thermal energy consumption during the drying process, the cost consumed is approximately 300 times that of forming dehydration. Therefore, it is necessary to design the entire drying process reasonably to save costs, which has become the main way for pulp and tableware enterprises to improve their economic benefits.
