Classification of degradable materials

According to the external factors of degradation, it can be divided into:
1. Photodegradable materials: degrade due to the action of sunlight;
2. Biodegradable materials: degrade due to the respiration or chemosynthesis of natural microorganisms such as fungi and bacteria, and ultimately decompose into carbon dioxide and water;
3. Environmental degradation materials: degrade under natural environmental conditions such as light, heat, water, pollutants, microorganisms, insects, and mechanical forces.
